Andy brought up the point of how surfing invented and affected other cultures in America. Skateboarding was a huge movement in the 90s and was born 100% out of surfing. Surfing paved the way for more expressions of rebellion.

The big thing that i will for sure add to the final draft is making it more personal. The idea of rebellion is a universal language and the surfing’s ties to it can lead to a bigger point all together at the conclusion of the ethnography.
